Manifesto

Humans, no matter how different, have one inherent event in common:birth. Whether out of marriage or wedlock, love or lust, we all spawn from a moment of biological union between creators - our parents, God & the universe.Yet, regardless of our nature of arrival, we all share the same planet, breathe the same air, and rely on the same essentials for survival. We also, more or less, live similar lives, driven by the need for purpose and a deep, aching crave to reach one specific state — peace.

How, you may ask, do we end up so different then? Are we really even different at all? If we came into the world the same way by taking our first breath and are all destined to leave the world by taking our last.. what about everything that happens in between? Does it matter? Should it? What is the purpose of our lives if we all know how the story ends? The narrator today doesn’t have any answers to these questions. Aflam of Dreams exists to explore these very questions, to spark curiosity, and to encourage reflection on the human experience.

We all possess an innate desire to win. Chase a goal. Beat the odds. Express ourselves. To listen and to understand, to be heard and to be understood. More than anything, every single one of us - despite how different our circumstances may be - strives to be given more life. More life through people, places, and ideas aka more life through inspiration. The word inspiration comes from the Latin word“inspirare” which means to breathe into… How fitting? These moments of inspiration and the journey to finding them contribute to the film & story that is our lives.

Aflam of Dreams is an ode to this journey—the exploration and discovery of ourselves & the world around us through the lens of finding peace, and figuring out what our peace looks like. Our founders created this brand to highlight the many ways that people navigate their paths, overcome obstacles, and find fulfillment. Life presents setbacks, trials, and lessons that we learn and relearn. Yet, within these struggles, we also find moments of triumph—when perseverance makes the outcome even more meaningful. When we find alignment with our purpose, true alignment, life can feel effortless, as if nothing could go wrong. The push and pull is what makes a story. It’s for this reason that we believe every moment—both beautiful and challenging—is significant and deserves to be documented, displayed, and shared. 

We hope to play a role in your life—your movie—as a source of inspiration, a resource, and a support system on your path to finding your own version of peace. Even if it’s just for a moment. In a temporary world with temporary entities aside from God Himself, the most important thing to us is connection and the human experience. We’re all Picasso and picassos.. The painters and the painting. Our actions and accomplishments are all independent strokes to not only your own canvas but to a bigger picture as well.
